GO WARRIORS!

Mission Statement

It is the mission of RPCYFC to develop and promote the ideals of responsibility, hard work, sportsmanship, respect, teamwork and commitment in all children while participating in a safe, encouraging and positive sports environment.  By this mission, individual growth of our community's children will be enhanced through the spirit of competition, discipline and fair play.  By providing a properly structured program with competent leadership and adequate supervision, we will strive to educate both participants and parents the importance these values play both on and off the field.  This commitment will cultivate an honest environment where the principles of integrity, character, self-discipline, good fellowship and trustworthiness are pushed to the forefront.

Our Beliefs

RPCYFC welcomes everyone, regardless of race, gender, religion, ethnicity, or economic background and believes that every child has the right to participate in a safe and positive environment.

RPCYFC believes that children learn by example and that example we set as adults should and will take precedence over the game itself.  The leadership of RPCYFC shall at all times adhere to the utmost highest standards of respect, honesty, trust and integrity.

RPCYFC realizes the critical role that academics play in the development of our student athletes and recognizes the need to perform in the classroom as well as on the field.  The sport of football and cheer shall never take precedence over school requirements and parents are encouraged to support this effort in order to secure academic success for every student athlete.  Striving to develop athletes who put academic achievement first will also prepare them for the challenges of high school and collegiate environments.

Our Goals

To facilitate and foster in all participants the challenge of competition, the joy of victory, the reality of defeat, the importance of commitment, and the spirit of community.

To provide a wholesome competitiveness within the scope of league/conference rules and regulations that will protect the safety and well-being of the youth athlete and cheerleader at all times.

To teach the basic fundamentals of football and coordinate cheerleader and dance activities.

To influence good sportsmanship, the highest moral and physical standards and the importance of scholarship and academic achievement.

To promote and ensure the highest safety standards on and off the field.

To establish and adhere to a code of conduct for players, coaches and parents.

To promote and encourage the participation of today’s youth in the sport of football and cheerleading.

To impress upon all volunteers the grave responsibility of being a positive role model at all times yet more importantly at all RPCYFC sponsored events.

To maintain the highest level of ethical and moral standards for all volunteers by ensuring proper training, clinics, certifications, and background checks to protect our youth while not infringing on any individual privacy rights afforded by the Constitution.

To always put the student athlete first.

We aspire to give young student athletes a better understanding of the same game they will be participating in at higher levels.  By becoming familiar with the basic formations, patterns, and schemes at an earlier age, players will be more skilled and knowledgeable in their upcoming playing years.

The leadership of RPCYFC shall strive to be a positive influence on each and every child participant.

These goals will be achieved through organizing our dedicated volunteers, caring parents and business associates around the Rohnert Park Cotati area who wish to partner with our great youth sports program.
